Still No Word, WHEN ???

<p>My son applied mid-August into DUS and hasn't heard anything yet. Many of his friends with similar SATs and GPA and applied after him have been accepted. My Son is getting very anxious and not sure what to do.</p>

<p>SAT 1730, Weighted GPA 4.83, Unweighted GPA 3.49</p>

<p>He is taking all AP Courses at all Male College Prep High School (Pennsylvania). Taking 2 college classes (Duel Enrollment) and taking math credit (3) from University of Pittsburgh. Will graduate high school with 9 college credits. He said he would be willing to attend in summer if need be. He has a sibling enrolled as a Junior at University Park.</p>

<p>If he doesn't hear before University closes for break on Tuesday, any thoughts when the next set of acceptance letters will be sent out?</p>

<p>Still waiting too. Male, 3.6 W (Hard public NJ HS), 1320/1600, NHS, great resume, no aid needed. Everything was in 1st week of october, applied to Smeal for fall and summer. hopefully ill get in soon. if i had guess though, we wont hear until about January 15th. I just hope i get in at least summer session b/c its my second choice behind UMD.</p>

<p>dont worry college85. he is defintely in. 2/3rds of the decision is based on GPA. he has aboslutely nothing to worry about haha just patiently wait. it seems they way they accept/deny people are totally random and not at all based on when before the deadline they applied</p>
