e-mail has just arrived informing acceptance to Stony Brook's Scholar for Medicine Program. This is the last and most important decision that I have been waiting for! Please post here if have been accepted as well.

It seems nobody else on here interviewed or got in… idk.

Scholars for Medicine only accepts one or two students a year. In any event, it’s an notable accomplishment. Congrats and good luck!

Correction- Scholars for Medicine accepts around 10 students usually- Scholars for Dental Medicine selects up to 4 (usually only 2)
Are you a student at Stony Brook? It will be great if some one studying can confirm the number of students admitted each year. Their web site does not provide any details. But AAMC MSAR states only 4. I am debating if I should apply or not if the number of students admitted is so low. Thanks.
SfMed takes no more than ten, SfDMed typically no more than two.

It is definitely worth applying. From what I have seen, they interview a decent amount and accept around 8, but if people end up not coming I think they take people off the waitlist
