Did anyone receive an honors mail recently? I figured that even if im rejected, id still get a mailed notification.

Btw I have a quick question for those of you guys that applied through EOP. Does EOP cover full tuition and room/board and if not, how much aid do you guys get? I recently just found out I didn’t get any merit scholarships and I wasn’t qualified for EOP so I have no idea how I’m going to pay for college and I’m so worried.
@LOLHELPME EOP only gives us a $450 Book Stipend and a $750 scholarship per semester. Total aid from EOP is $1950. I spoke to an second semester EOP freshman at stony brook and that’s what he told me.
EDIT: I think EOP students get work-study if they qualify as well which is really helpful.
@Davidacus Ah, okay. What else does EOP offer you guys? I thought EOP paid for everything but I was wrong. Well, anyways, any aid is better than no aid. I’m happy that the EOP program helps students out a ton. And yeah, I heard work-study is also great. I’m hoping I get qualified for work-study so it could help me out financial-wise.
But once again, congratulations!!! Will you be attending Stony Brook for Fall 2015?

EOP, aside from financial aid, offers a lot of academic assistance. I know we’re required to see our counselors once a month to discuss our progress. Other than that I’m not so sure about what else EOP offers.

Did anyone not get back their responses from SB, Im still waiting here and apparently their deadline for responses is April 1.
I didn’t hear anything back. I applied on October 20th…

I don’t know for sure, but I’m thinking they send this stuff out in batches. My daughter was accepted a few weeks ago and received several big scholarships. She was also invited to the Brookhaven Labs tour. But she hasn’t heard anything about the honors or scholars program yet, and I’m pretty confident she’ll get into one or the other.
On my solar, I no longer have a SB elert emergency tab. Is this a sign or did everyone have this tab taken away?

@Davidacus that’s weird. All my friends who were accepted don’t have it at all.
