<p>The language program at my school is pretty bad, and I chose Junior year that I'd rather take two science classes rather than continue taking spanish. Will this hurt my chances?</p>
<p>If you are currently taking Spanish II, then yes, it will hurt your chances. NYU recommends 3-4 years of a foreign language and the vast majority of applicants will have that preparation.</p>
<p>@skieurope I took Spanish II sophomore year. As a senior, I’m currently taking AP Stats, AP Calc BC, AP Lit, AP Gov/Econ, AP Biology, and AP Comp Gov </p>
<p>OK, my opinion is still the same, but since you’re a senior, it’s not like there’s anything you can do about it.</p>
<p>Is that 3-4 years of Spanish in high school? Because my district forces us to do it in middle school, so I got up to Spanish 3 before quitting </p>
