<p>My son will be leaving KP from Mar-Nov...he has a musical instrument to store (the size of a guitar)...any ideas if Great Neck has a storage facility? He isn't comfortable putting it into the storage locker at the school. Thanks!</p>
<p>Does your son have a sponsor family that would be willing to store the instrument? That way if humidity or temperature affect the instrument, it would be safer in a home.</p>
<p>My son left his expensive guitar in the Chapel lock up. If he has a friend that would be willing to keep it for him that works too.</p>
<p>Also, one thing he should check out is the Midshipmen insurance through USAA. It costs $30 per year for the mids and covers all of the belongings including class ring, computer, etc. well worth the money :)</p>

<p>That’s the way to go. Ask your Mid to find a buddy who lives relatively close- NY NJ PA- to store it. Or contact the TriState Parents Association (P/M me). We store items for several of my DS’s buddies during sea year and summer. You should see my living room.</p>
