Strange email from Duke

I was just checking my email and I received one at around 8 oclock on Friday night from a

Gayla Winstead
Office of Assistant Vice President, Student Affairs
& Dean of Students Office

the message says:

I am forwarding the attached letter from Dean Sue (Wasiolek). If you have any questions, please feel free to contact her at dean.sue@duke.edu.

But then when I download and open the document, it says
(This file must be converted with BinHex 4.0)
and a bunch of random letters and numbers

Anyone else get this? I have no clue what to do about it. I suppose I can email Dean Sue.

Never mind, I just emailed her and provided me a text version.

I got that, too. What was it?

I’ve been trying for nearly two hours to decode the cryptic message.

Have any of you guys already received your financial aid information (EFC) from Duke? I’m guessing it might have something to do with that.

no, it was just another one of those “come to Duke” letters :P

Ouch. I just wasted 2 hours of my life.

Yeah, I received this email and could not discern its purpose.
