Stress from AP calc

Coming from an Asian American household, I feel a lot of pressure to do well in math. However, math has never been my strong suit. Currently teetering on the edge of a C for this quarter, and my parents are incredibly stressed out and disappointed. Any advice? I’m worried about my GPA, of course, but how do I do better in this class? (struggled some in honors precalc last year as well, but nothing this bad)

Any help/advice on how to do better/deal with parent pressure?

Talk to your teacher, go to tutoring, use khan academy… If all else fails, can you drop down to Honors calc?

i can, but i would really like to take this class. again, ties in with the pressure from my parents, and also my own expectations for myself.

Here are ideas:

Can your parents afford to get you a tutor in the class?

I’m self-studying AP Calc right now and Khan Academy is a lifesaver! I also really like using the Princeton Review book because it explains the concepts a lot better than the textbook my teacher gave me.
