I am really not good at doing any sort of math. Since I can’t exempt the geometry final, Im pretty much screwed. My friend who took the exam today told me that it was a DCA, meaning that the district made it. My question is, what will the average in the class be if first semester I got a 88 and 89 second semester? Btw, the test is 30 questions.
What score do I need on the final exam to keep at least a 80 in the class?
We’d need more info to do that calculation for you. How much is the final weighted against your semester grades? (Ex. Sems worth 40% each and final worth 20%)
Finals are 20% of our semester grade
What percent of your grade are your quarter grades?
Ok so my first semester grade in geometry was a 88, this semester its a 89. Suppose I got a 70 on the final which is 20% of my second semester grade, what will my average be?
Rest assured: as long as you get above a 50%, you’ll keep at least an 80 in the class. But conversely, if you do well on it, you can raise your grade in the class to a 90!
This makes me feel a little less stressed. Thank you!
Btw, how many can I get wrong to raise my grade in the class to a 90%?
Since you have an 88-89 right now, I’d say you’d need around a 95 to get a 90% in the class (less if your teacher rounds up from an 89.5). That would be 1-2 questions wrong.
Still, I think you can do it; just work hard! Anything is possible. If you’re not “good at math”, ask someone to help you! You have an 89 right now–you must have done something right along the way.
dont worry usually district exams are way easier than the teachers’ ones
If you guys are wondering what I got on the geometry final, I scored a 80!
wow that’s amazing! personally, geometry is too hard. like i just don’t know how people figure out how to solve these problems. like how? omg
can someone tutor me over private message in geometry? i’ll give you some anime recommendations.
