Hello! I am currently a junior in highschool, and I am worried about my chances of getting into a UC or any college. Freshman year, I earned all As with honors and AP. Sophomore year I continued to take honors and AP and earned all As except for one B in AP bio and one C in honors math, but it was a B the other semester. Now I’m a junior and I am taking five IB courses and two regular courses, I earned three As, two Bs, and two Cs. I am very worried about the two Cs and the C from sophomore year. There were some very unfortunate events during my life through first semester jr. year which truly distracted me from my studies. I am a few weeks into second semester and I almost have all As. If I finish second semester will all As, could my chances of getting into a UC be saved? My top three would be Irvine, Davis, and San Diego. I am very involved on campus with clubs, and I am an officer for two clubs. I am planning on becoming an officer for more. I also volunteer and I was in volleyball for my school for two years. I am still deciding between law and medicine for my major. I am an IB diploma candidate as well. Thank you for reading and I hope I was clear

Just my opinion (as always): I would be more concerned about pulling up your GPA, rather than on finding more clubs in which to be an officer. Pulling up your GPA for the rest of this year can help you significantly at this point.
I sincerely thank you for your response
Thank you for responding ! This info really helped mold where to realistically apply
Do you have a test score yet? By this time, you should have already prepared for the tests and at least know your practice score.
On my PSAT sophomore year I got a 1250 without preparing, so I think the SAT will go well because I’m studying for it.
