Stressing for the ACT?

Hi guys I currently just finish Sophmore year of high school recently. I’ve only just finished Geometry however. A teacher recommended that I take the ACT this summer COLD. I thought what the heck, I can take it more than once and the colleges only see the scores that I want them to see. However, the test is in 2 weeks and I’ve asked around and all the responses were to study. I’m bad at math, I took a practice and scored a 17, I think everything else is ok. I bought the real act prep book too. Time isn’t my issue, it’s the content and I don’t understand some of the questions or why I got them wrong. I am also recovering from a surgery 3 days ago(nothing major). I’m stressing for this test and I don’t know why. What do I do about the math problem? I don’t know where to get help.

Well don’t take the test now. Work over the summer and take it junior year. You don’t have to take the test just because a teacher recommended that you do. Study over the summer and take the test next year.

But I already signed up for it, it’s the only reason why I’m stressing and studying so hard.

So you can postpone it. You may have to pay a bit more but the money you paid for this one can be transferred to pau most of the cost of the fall–you’ll lose a bit but not that much.
