Student council/government/asb. Should I continue to do it in my senior year?

I’ve been a student council commissioner for two years. Should I continue to do it my senior year too? The only reason why I’m hesitant is because I feel as if one of the teacher directors of the directors doesn’t like me. Does it make a difference if I have 2 years of student council on my application instead of 3?

It would look better to continue in terms of showing consistency and commitment to your extracurricular activities. However, if you truly don’t like an activity anymore – don’t do it. Spend your time on activities that you enjoy because that’s what will come through in your essays and letters of recommendation.

I did student government 3 years and stopped senior year because the student government began bullying students. If you are unhappy or uncomfortable, don’t do it.
