I got about 300 dollars from a inter-ship I did over the summer of 2011.
Do I need to file taxes for this and if so, what information do I fill out on the FAFSA and CSS?

Will this decrease my financial aid?

If that is the only income you had, you do not have to file income taxes. But you do need to list the income you earned on your financial aid application forms. You will indicate that you will not file taxes. That amount will not have an impact on your financial aid, I wouldn’t think.

Thumper & I are twins! :)

And I’m the black sheep. You don’t have to file taxes because you didn’t make enough money according to IRS rules to file taxes.

kelsmom or thumper, what is the most a dependant student can earn before it impacts their FA?
