Hi! As I have begun my college search, I noticed that Villanova is one of the only Catholic schools offering greek life. I am wondering is the greek life here is fun! Is it worth joining? I am a girl, but I struggle with environments where everyone is the same. However, greek life sounds like a good opportunity. Could someone flesh it out? Is it based on looks? I am not the gossip type…
Hello! To be completely honest, greek life here is just as you’d expect it to be. Totally based off of looks, wealth, etc. There are a few exceptions. Alpha Delta Gamma and Pi Beta Phi (the sorority I’m in) are non-judgemental, supportive, and totally fun for all kinds of girls. The two are seen as “lesser” by the other sororities, but who cares about what they think. The girls in AGD and PiPhi love their groups.
