If I understand correctly, if I did not file taxes for 2014, then I do not have to submit any forms aside from my parents’ tax forms? And if I get accepted, then I have to submit the Student Verification Form?
Also, my FAFSA has not yet been downloaded by the BC financial aid office. Is that the same for everyone else?
@irreplaceable, how do you tell if a school has downloaded your fafsa?
@bluebayou Will I not receive my financial aid decision until I send them that document? Trying to figure out if I should send it regular or express.
@skipper26 I checked my financial aid portal and it said that they still needed my FAFSA under required documents but there was a note that said they will start downloading FAFSA in mid March. And I know I sent them my FAFSA, so that’s why I assumed that they hadn’t downloaded it yet.
This form should not hold up any fin aid award, so regular mail is fine IR; it has to go through the lock box processing anyway. (All mail is scanned and uploaded electronically.)
Fafsa is retrieved in batches. Agora is really old technology (so updates are not too timely for admissions stuff), but like an old shoe, you will learn to love Agora if you attend BC.
Good luck.
