All About Boston College

Information about BC, discussion of application requirements, and more.

Nice idea.

What year are you and your general thoughts on your experience ?

How likely is it that I won’t get financial aid if I don’t send in the tax returns copies to BC (instead I already submitted FAFSA & CSS)? Is it mandatory to the extent that there isn’t aid?

How likely that you won’t receive aid if you don’t…? 100%!

If you want free money from colleges, ya gotta follow their rules and directions. The finaid app and forms must be mailed into:

Boston College Financial Aid Processing Center
P.O. Box 67486
Chestnut Hill, MA 02467

Should I send them in the mail after I submit an application or beforehand (because I’m not too sure if I even want to attend BC now [Northeastern was much easier with the IDOC]).

Also, if i have a copy of the tax return with all the stuff, but my parents aren’t wanting to send in that one, should i get another one like a copy of that one, or should i ask IRS to send us another one if that is possible?

ICT:

if you are applying RD, there is no rush. Next month is fine.

BC may hold up your finaid processing until all docs are in, or they may go ahead and estimate an award pending final docs. But the longer you take to submit the paperwork, the longer it may take them, and if you are trying to compare awards in April…

Just make a copy of your original at the local copier and mail (USPS Priority Mail is second day air and gives you a tracking number) that into BC’s PO box.

Good luck.
