Study Habits

omg jackass is not censored.

haha YES FINALLY i can use a semi-curse word..lol thanks pellman for the discovery..

and yes...they're all stupid..they think its so cool to sit there with coffee and look productive....its like a new thing in american culture...goddamn starbucks

Its a way for them to say "look at me I'm so special".... I always feel like punching one of these JACKASSES and throw my white chocolate mocha at their face.

^^

Edit: actually I wouldn't throw my white chocolate mocha at their face. I'd probablly just fart on them.

lol yeah...i hate how they all choose the window seats too..so they can be seen living out the young, educated, college student lifestyle..that involves hours at the local coffee shop (aka petes or starbucks)

it's a nice approach to call everyone that needs a convenient space (considering there's a starbucks on every corner with wifi access) to do some work a jackass.

haha veralyn OBVIOUSLY is one of those people..

and no dont give me that bs you jackass (haha sorry i had to, i just found out its not censored OK!)

if you want to work, go to the library where you belong...

How can you find comfort in a coffee shop anyway seriously?

Its better than being told to shut up in the library, any small noise movement can be heard by everyone around you, being limited on the computer to 20 mins, no eating, no cell phone usage. And there are ways more starbucks than there are public libraries, so that makes transportation a lot easier, if it’s a problem. Different people have different study habits. So everyone has different ideal study environment.

i've honestly never studied for more than 30 minutes in my life, thus i just bought the popular book "what smart students know". I've read like 10 pages and i got bored so i stopped reading.

lol, I study at the bathroom.
I know, I know, but that bright light and small space, it's perfect!!!

JK

I don't know why, but I have this weird tendency to go to Borders and find a very small space between one bookself to the other which only one body and a book can fit in and read the whole book there. I have this really BIG table in my room. (It's more like a party table than a desk.) When I study, I just put every book I have on the table and make a small enough space to put a book and my notebook that I need to work on. The worst habbit I have is I drink A LOT OF coffee so that my stomach is actually not well. Plus, when I study, I'm, like, so tense that I have a hard time in eating and digesting.

Anyone knows how not to be stressful???

lol hobo (10 chars)

i have a feeling i'm going to develop an addiction to coffee while i'm in college...

there's nothing wrong with studying on the crapper... i mean th ebathroom has literally no distraction..

Except when somebody is on the next stall dumping an s-bomb the size of Nagasaki.

i drink a cup of coffee before every exam.

also, there's nothing wrong with doing your work at starbucks. BUT.. it kind of gets out of hand when they get the best spot and most comfortable couch, bust out the laptop INCLUDING the ac adapter, and literally sit there for hours.

i was stuck in nyc for a whole night, and the starbucks in times square was 24 hours. i had nowhere to go and it was 2 in the morning, so i waited in there until the next bus home, which was 8 am. and wow.. i wanted a freakin' couch so badly but i didn't get one -_-

Library Plx

I do not sit on the CRAPPER!!! (I just sit on the floor. ) And I meant the house bathroom, not other. Just wanted to make sure people know-

Only bad thing is when you fell asleep in that little place (and, locked the bathroom) while your brother wants to use the bathroom.

ilovecalifornia- one cup of coffee won't kill you. But when it gets like seven cups a day, you could get an ulcer of the stomach. Put a lot of milk in the coffee and it's better not to drink it in an empty stomach. I also think that your personallity matters a lot, if you don't get stress often, then, I say, you would have those stomach problems less than a person like me.

you sounded somewhat quirky and a little bit edgy( in a good way) in your other posts. you will do fine in CC and will have good friends as you start being yourself.

hey, i sit on the crapper when i need to read something long. It keeps me from falling asleep and it makes me read fast because sitting on it too long makes my butt hurt.

haha, I just don't know what to say
