Study method and projected score

Hey guys,

I'm taking the SAT on January 26th, and I wanted some input on my study habits for the test. What I have been doing (not only for the test but as a new years resolution :D) is sleeping at 9 or 10 and waking up at 5 in the morning to study/do homework. This forces me to get all my school hw done by 10 so I can do SAT and extracurriculars at 5 am. So I'm waking up at 5 am every weekday and doing SAT sections. I made a 211 on the October PSAT but I should have gotten at least a 220 because I got a 68 on math (completely ignored it, thought it was too easy, made simple mistakes), 730 on cr and 700 on wr. So if I study well and do some CB practice tests on the weekends, what are my chances are getting more than 2300 on SAT?

I’m also a junior taking the exam on the 26th (for the first time). Obviously I can’t give much insight, but we had similar PSAT scores (I got a 228 with an M:80, CR:73, W:75). From the couple practice test’s I’ve taken, I’m sitting around a 2260. Considering you are preparing A LOT more, I think you’ve got a good chance.

I’d suggest that you sit down and take an exam in one sitting. I don’t know if you are just doing a couple sections in the morning, but doing the whole exam in one time slot helped me a lot.

Thanks, I just cant be so overconfident and not even look at math haha. And im a sophmore

edit: yeah I was planning on taking a couple whole practice exams on the weekends

Good luck! Also, why stress over the SAT now?
