Oh yes, also I'd like to do an informal poll for current students.

A) What is your major?
B) How many hours a week would you guestimate you study outside of class on average?

Thank you oh-so-much and have a nice day!

On average, probably about 30 hours spread out rather unevenly across the week. It can be less on light weeks and much more on heavy weeks (finals... ergh). I want to be an MB&B major, and I took honors intro bio (+ lab) and intro chem this semester, along with spanish 101 and intro to sociology. Similar schedule next semester, but with contemporary issues in physics instead of soc. Heh, grades just came out, and I'm going to have to step it up a little... still can't wait to go back, though.

No less than 30 in a week assuming you count working on problem sets as "studying". Some weeks considerably more. I'm astronomy/physics.
