Studying in the US or India

Hello. I am Varda Choraria, age 15 yrs from India currently studying in the grade 10th. I plan to pursue a career in the Business Administration field I would be highly obliged if you could help me with what I should do in my 11th and 12th grade to get a place at an esteemed university. I have the option of either studying in India for the next 2 yrs and completing my high school with either a CBSE or ICSE board curriculum or go to the United States of America for a exchange programme in the yr 11th and then go to either a public or private high school in the United States for the year 12 and get my high school diploma. I would like your advice to what I should do and at the same time what subjects should I take that would help me in getting admission and cope up with the course later on.

Hi Varda. If you have an option, then why not?! It's much easier than CBSE or ICSE... if you can cope with the change of culture.

As admissions go, I would say you should go. But even if you decide to stay here, I don't think that would change things much.

personally...having moved from india fairly recently...i'd say stay there...make the most of the time you can spend with your closest friends..family...and "home" in general...but coming here probably will open a wider range of opportunities for you...it'll be more competitive for you if you apply as an international...probably less so if you apply from here....sorry i know this doesn't help you too much...but the decision you make for yourself will be the best...good luck!
