Hello! I am a Senior who will be applying to UMich early action this fall. I'm planning on applying to LSA so that I can major in Earth/Environmental Sciences, but I also love Theater and would like to know if there is anyway that I can study it in LSA as well. I read something about Individual Concentration Program (ICP)...what is that all about? All help is greatly appreciated. Go Blue!

I don’t know enough to be sufficiently helpful re icp, but I do know that it is possible to dual degree between the school of music, theater and dance and lsa – often takes 5 yrs instead of 4. If you want that option avail, be sure to apply to BOTH schools on the common app, as each is decided separately (eg you can get a yes from theatre and a no from lsa, or vice versatile, or an acceptance at both or neither.) once you have your decisions, they will then ask you to reconfirm your intent to pursue both, and then receive special advising for dual degree students. In latter years, you can still drop one if you change direction or decide it’s too much.
