<p>Remind them how much college will cost.. and if they still want to get you something, ask for something simple like a gift card or a coffee machine</p>
<p>ask them for really expensive stuff so they won't get it for you anyway. a car, a laptop, a nice camera, an expensive phone, a designer handbag (if you're a girl, that is. although they wouldn't get it for you if you were a guy...)...</p>
<p>but really, you can't think of ANYTHING you might like? how about planning ahead for stuff you'll need in college?</p>
<p>a gift card that doesn't expire. save it until you go to college so you can spend it there.</p>
