I had a family crisis most of last week, and I didn't have a chance to mail in my letters of recommendation. Today's MLK day, so I can't go to the post office because it's closed. I can mail them tommorow super priority so that they'll hopefully get there by wednesday. Has anyone else had an issue with late letters and already talked to the admissions office about it? I plan on calling tommorow morning, but I'm really anxious because I really don't want these stupid recs to be the reason I'm not considered.

I have the same problem. Except it happened because of my tendency to slack. I learned my lesson... painfully =(. I haven't sent in one of my two recommendations for the Lien Program (the other one got through). It's just that one rec. I really hope that they don't disqualify me.

I've the same problem! I'm just going to take a chance and mail it ASAP, even though it definitely won't reach St. Louis by Tuesday morning. Who knows? The scholarships team might be extra-generous once again and keep accepting recs. I almost considered emailing them a copy of my community leader's recommendation, but I don't want to seem untrustworthy or whatever, so I'm taking a chance. I'd say that it's better to do something about it even if it's late than to do nothing at all.
