Stupid mistake about score choice for sat help please!!!!!

Hey guys,

So, in December I decided to take the SAT II Literature for fun and to see how I did. I was very nervous and as I came out I knew that I did absolutely horribly. So, I was strongly considering cancelling the score. However, I then remembered that for one of the colleges I was applying to that i had already sent my scores in for they asked all scores be sent, and when I tried to uncheck a box a message popped up saying that the college wanted all the scores.
So I typed in the name for the rest of my colleges and legitimately checked each one and they all let me uncheck a box and what not. SO, I decided heck why not see how I did. I got my scores back I got under 600 (not a lot) and was just mortified. My SAT I reading score was a 730 and therefore this did not reflect at all how I am in reading, just how badly I did that day. Anyhow, today I sent in all of my scores but choiced them, so unchecked all of my SAT II Lit scores for the colleges. NO MESSAGE POPPED UP. So I thought, meh I don't have 3 SAT IIs but I'm okay, I have a 780 Chem and 800 Math 2c.
Later today though I was finishing up my application by visiting the college website and making my account and what not and some of the schools like Cornell and Georgetown REQUIRE THAT ALL SCORES BE SENT. How was I to know before this? So I already sent all my scores, they never stopped me from unclicking the SAT II Lit score. What will happen? Will they not consider me? Will they even know? Why did Collegeboard not pop out the message anymore?

I'm FREAKING OUT THANK YOU!!!

Christmas was two days ago. The admissions office is now available. You should call and ask

Those colleges require you to send all scores. If you did not, you can just order them sent again with the Lit scores and you will be in compliance with the college’s rule. As to what happens if you continue to try to hide your Lit score from the college, the answer is that the college can reject you or withdraw any admission given if it finds out but thus far during the three years there has been score choice and colleges requiring all scores, I have not heard of anyone being punished by a college for failing to submit all scores.

You should also note that your not having College Board send the Lit score may not end up concealing anything. You need to check with your high school. Many high schools put all your scores on your official high school transcript that is sent to colleges and if yours does you accomplished nothing except to prove to the college that you made an attempt to hide scores by not having CB send them all.

Also, be aware that if you submit all scores to Cornell, it uses only your highest two SAT subject tests to determine admission. Georgetown is a different issue. Though it does not require subject tests it does strongly recommend that you send official scores from three tests in different subjects and thus far you have sent only two.
