Guys, I just realized...i forgot to send Berkeley my SAT scores....

SAT I: 2300
CR: 770, MA: 800, WR: 730 (essay: 11)
Chem: 800
Phys: 800
Math: 800

do you think this might be the reason I got rejected? My other stuff on the app are decent, though not stellar. I'm accepted to Yale, Columbia, and UPenn (all very expensive)....I was hoping for Berkeley as an option. What should I do? Should I appeal, or ask my counsellor to call Berkeley?

You'd have to appeal, I think.

They would've sent you something in the mail if they didn't get your SAT scores

that's the thing...i never received any notification of missing documents...

And let me guess, you're in IB and you go to my school.

I think since you have Columbia/Penn/Yale, don't even bother with Berkeley. The aid pkg isn't gonna be great compared to the Ivies, so just sit back, relax, and enjoy your top schools.

You should only appeal if you'd still like to have Berkeley as a choice at this point.

An appeal is used for exactly situations like this, where information has been missing / accidentally misrepresented. I think you'd have a very good chance at appeal.

it doesnt matter if u didn't send in ur scores.. i got accepted and on the admissions page it says to send:"Official test scores (if you have not already done so) for the SAT Reasoning or the ACT plus Writing and the two required SAT Subject Test "

so this is saying they admitted students who hadent sent in their scores....

As long as you correctly self-reported your SAT scores on your UC application, they saw it. I don't think you can use this as a basis for an appeal.
