<p>Sorry if I sound too OCD about this (I'm practically like this with every little part of the app), but does it matter if the activity I write about in the short answer part of the Common App is not at the top of my list of extracurricular activities?</p>
<p>If you're concerned, why not just switch the order of your activities to make it consistent with the short answer?</p>
<p>Well I had planned to write the big essay about the other activity. I assume most of you will say that the order of the list doesn't really matter?</p>
<p>I really don't think the order of your EC's is going to make or break your app. You'll be elaborating about two of those EC's in your essays. As long as they're listed somewhere near the top, I wouldn't sweat it.</p>
