Okay... so I've heard that Howard University is a Historically Black College...

Now for my retarded question: Would I, a non-black female of Indian ethnicity, first of all be accepted to the college, and second of all, be accepted socially and treated normally?

I'm just wondering if this college is generally meant for only a certain ethnicity and if my presence would completely upset the social atmosphere.

And I apologize profusely for any ignorance or overall stupidity this question may contain.

It’s not a stupid question at all. I’m sure a lot of people who aren’t African American wonder how comfortable they would be and whether or not they’d be socially accepted at a HBCU. It’s kind of rare for the majority at a college to be a minority. Especially at private institutions.
But to answer your question, even though HBCUs still are mostly African American they accept everyone. Howard is probably one of the most diverse HBCUs economically, religiously, and even racially (you’ll find a lot people of mixed races at Howard). But you’ll find quite a few non-black students at HBCU’s who opt for to go there for various reasons. It’s not all that common, but it’s definitely not rare.
Plus a few years ago at Morehouse (An all male HBCU), a white guy was valedictorian. It was pretty interesting and there was a lot of surrounding press around him.
