The stupid proctor was a Math teacher, during all the Math sections he'd sit next to my desk and mentally solve the whole test. He was making me nervous looking at my test paper!!
I made 6 stupid mistakes in the last math section, but, after he got up and got lost, I corrected them all.

a proctor shouldnt be doing that...you might want to contact collegeboard?

shoyldve told him: hey dude, you want to help me solve these problems. If he said no, then you shouldve told him to leave you alone

lol... or you might wanna look up and ask him- are my answers alright?

I had a proctor who was an English teacher (not at my school) who tried to convice the test takers that graphic calculators were not allowed. I told her my TI-84 didn't have graphing capabilites.

The next time I took the test in the school, I brought a printout of CollegeBoard's calculator policy.

i misgridded for 4 sections, and my proctor made me spend in-sat time to move them all back.

luckily it was on the lawyer cr passage that i realized it (probably the easiest section of all),
so i still got to answer all the questions. then again, to do that i still i rushed on quite a few.

edit:
whoahhhh, wait, but she did fill out a form about the event - is this something that qualifies
for a retake within the next few weeks? probably not, but it would be nice, seeing as how i have to take
the iis in december no matter what.

I think if I had asked him for help, he would have helped me. He's my actual Math teacher in class. But I wanted to do it all on my own.

is that even legal, one of your teacher's proctoring you? I dont think it is. Some Teachers would want their own students to do well and will therefore give them an unfair advantage.

I don't know. My school is a test centre, all the proctors (or most) are from the school. But they are randomly assigned test rooms. They don't know who'll be there or even which room they'll be in until the test day.

Stuck what he did was illegal lol... but just wondering how many times have you taken the SAT! I have seen you so many times.

seven times.
I know people don't take it more than 3 times (those who want to go to US unis) but here it's a different story.

I took it 4. :d.

3..4, it's all the same. :)

Why so many times? Just study it well and take it once!!!

As I said, it's a different story Here. I would have done that if I had known at the time. I'm sick of SAT I anyway; I've already started a bunch of SAT II courses and will take the tests in January.

lol....i feel sorry for u man. isnt 1700 a good enuf score to get into a decent college/university?and takin it so many times will not help u. unless u did really bad on the first time. cuz the first score gets deleted after u take the test 6 times.

for the millionth time; 1700 is outdated. my highest is 1830. (but I want 1950)...I don't know if it'll get me into anything though..

What schools are you looking at?

none at the moment. Besides, even if I were, no onw wants a guy who took it 7 times, right?
