Syracuse University: Slight reach/high match
Ithaca College: Slight reach/high match
University of California: If you mean Cal or UCLA, big reach. Maybe for lower-tier UC’s.
University of Colorado-Boulder: Match/high match
New York University: big reach

All of these would be considerably easier if you get the SAT’s up to 1250/1900 or so. Also, if any of these are instate publics for you, you’d get a bit of a boost.

By University of California, if you mean Berkeley( which I assume you do) and you are out of state( which I assume by the ‘university of california’),then you are already at a huge disadvantage and stiff competition. Your gpa is too low, your sats/act too low for Berkeley- the primary factor for admissions for CAL is transcript/test scores.

I don’t know about NYU- it would be a major major reach. Your academics is just too low- really try to bring up your standardized test scores because that is one realm you do have relative control over.

Your EC’s are nice. I don’t know enough about the other colleges.

I rechecked your EC’s- many of the things you listed are negligable and wouldn’t go on your app. I can see, however, focused EC’s in theater so that is good. Also, your courseload is not rigorous( for Berkeley and NYU standards) so it would not in any way help offset your low gpa but rather, further diminish the value of the 3.3-3.5.

However, you do have concentrated interests so make sure your essays, teacher recs, and EC list is the best possible and most representative of you. Apply to more colleges- more safeties and matches. Look on websites to see colleges that fall within you gpa/sat range.

U of C - I am not talking about Berkeley (I know that I don’t have the stuff for it). I’m talking about San Diego or Davis.

NYU - I’m working on my test scores and if I apply to NYU, I’m going for Steinhardt (Speech Pathology), which I’ve heard is less competitive.

Syracuse - I know that my test scores fall into both ranges. My ACT is in the middle and my SAT falls into the range.

But yeah, if there is any more advice, college suggestions from my info (I’m looking into Speech Pathology, Psychology, or Design [Environment/Graphic/Fashion]). Thanks so much.

My resume is really similar to yours (you got more EC, I have a bit better SAT score and volunteer). We have a few schools in common…good luck though

I have a lot of service actually. My school requires service to be able to take exams. 10 school and 6 community each year. But I’ve gone above and beyond, especially for community. I helped create a booth on Disabilities for my school Health Fair, I’ve helped with a Spanish Language Festival/Fair, I’ve designed invitations for parties for a organization that helps make money for women’s education, etc. But yeah. Advice and other things are still appreciated. :]

UCSD and UCD are still not matches if you are OOS, and perhaps even if you are in-state.
NYU definitely won’t admit you (they only take 24% of applicants anyway, so don’t feel bad) and at the University of Colorado I think you are more competitive but it could go either way (personally I think that if you get in here you should go, as it is a great school).
Good luck with your apps!
