SU vs LeMoyne vs Binghamton vs University at Buffalo

Well, I’ve been accepted to all four for finance. I can attend Buffalo or Binghamton free of cost. I am wondering would it worth taking out loans to attend SU or LeMoyne or go to Binghamton or Buffalo for free? If not, for business finance which one is better in terms of getting a job right out college and which school has a better reputation in case I decide to go for my MBA? If so, which one would you suggest out of Lemoyne or SU?

Thank you all in advance for your input. It is greatly appreciated.

First, great username, just avoid revolving doors.

Congrats on your acceptances, and I am certain you will get a great education and results from any of those schools. Free is hard to beat, especially if you want to save $$ for grad school. However I will say, as an SU grad, there seems to be a stunningly large network of SU alumni on the east coast which may help when it comes time to look for a job.

@DonBarzini - Congrats on your options. Free is very difficult to pass up. Have you visited Buffalo and Binghampton? What were your thoughts on each? Where do you hope to live after school? Binghamton has a very strong reputation.

Can you be more specific regarding your net costs for both Syracuse and Lemoyne? How much would you and your parents have to take out in loans to attend either of these schools?

I visited Syracuse, Binghamton, and UB during my college search and ended up only applying to Binghamton (for wngineering, so a little different) because I didn’t like the campus feel of UB and Syracuse didn’t have a super great engineering program. I found UB to be too big and cold, both in temperature and also just in overall friendliness (or lack there of). Binghamton felt a lot friendlier. I don’t know if this helps or not, but the feel of a campus on a visit always have helped me quite a bit.

What’s your parents’ budget? How much would SU cost?
Have you been accepted for Finance at all of them?
What about Honors - at any of them?

Buffalo is actually a very friendly school from what I’ve heard.
