Subject in language for native speaker

As a native speaker if I will take a subject test in my language (in addition to history ,math2, physics and chemistry) , will it benefit my admission, won't benefit but also won't harm, or harm it?

it’s stupid. waste of money and time

Care to explain?
for money I can agree , as for time it is just 1 hour of my day

An 800 looks good no matter what. I’d totally take it, if given the chance.

lol didnt mean waste of time as an hour. its an expression
i think colleges wont look at it because its ur mother tongue and everything but 800 would be kind of embarrassing…

I completely agree. I was born in China and am quite proficient at the language, but without actual study, I don’t think I’d get an 800 (IF there was a Chinese SAT), a 5 on an AP (Of course 100% on speaking, but I haven’t written in so long), and there’s like no sense in doing the HSK (Who cares?)

It’s more than enough if you were born there and you mark that you’re proficient at the language–they have no reason not to believe you.

It is actually MORE impressive if you pursue a 3rd or even FOURTH language–colleges love that :)

well it will be a 800; I get you guys , but as long as it won’t hurt my application I don’t see why not:). I guess most of colleges will ignore it but if it will help in even one case it worth it

extra sat 2 never hurts
wgats ur native language if i may know?

yep you may, hebrew
