subject test question

if you took 2 SAT IIs and sent them to Cornell, then took a third test a month later, would they need to see that third test? because technically you sent them ALL your scores and didnt use score choice, since the third test didnt happen yet.

That third test would have to be sent in if it were taken before or shortly after the normal (January) admissions deadline.

You are allowed to pick and choose which SAT IIs you send.

It is SAT Is that you are required to send all of.

i think chendrix is right because the policy is against SCORE CHOICE. its not wrong to send scores before taking a third test, it just so happens thats how the chips fell.
although now im nervous that 3rd score will be on my transcript, which i didnt think of until 5 minutes ago. it appears that i am doomed…

It doesn’t matter, regardless.
Cornell’s policy on score choice does not apply to SAT IIs.

Even if you had taken all three SAT IIs during freshmen year, you would only be required to submit those that are required by the school (sometimes 1 math 1 science, etc).

As long as you submit the tests that are required, Cornell doesn’t care if you took others.

chendrix, i really want to believe you but i cant find anything on the site that suggests the policy only applies to SAT IIS. i only took math II for georgetown, and i think its going to cost me dearly. i did very mediocre on it, which is why i sent my scores to cornell BEFORE I sat for math II. i got waitlisted by GW a few days ago everything is falling apart for me here… :(

actually if anybody has a link showing it doesnt matter how many SAT IIs you send, can u post it? i cant find proof anywhere.

now pull yourself together.

thanks chendrix. i guess now all i can do is wait…
