I recently received my January subject test scores. Sadly, I didn't do as good as I hoped.

For the UVa students - is it common for the accepted student body to have submitted subject test scores?

I've heard from a source that it isn't common, but I find that difficult to believe since "highly recommended" can often translate to "the majority of admitted students will probably have submitted them."

They can’t hurt. I asked this question last year and didn’t do so hot but Dean J and others said it could only help your application, not hurt it.

It didn’t hurt my D and she didn’t do as well as we thought she would, although comparing her scores to lots of her top flight friends showed she still did relatively well.

I don’t know where to post this. I’m looking to transfer in. From what I have read they look at all of my application, which defiantly makes me feel better. My parents withdrew me from high school because of medical problems, I think I had just turned 16. I got my GED in a matter of months and jumped head first into college, just taking a placement test. So, I never took and SAT, ACT, or other test. Do I still need them to be reviewed? The application did not notify me that I had left those fields blank. I know it could only bolster my application, but I already have an AA degree and plenty of college credits under my belt. I am not sure at this point if there is really anything I can do about not having test scores, but I keep hoping I’ll be reviewed at least anyways despite not having them.
