Just got a 690 on my literature subject test, should I submit this to Duke and UChicago? I’m submitting my ACT to Duke, so it’s not recommended that I send 2 subject tests, and I already did well on US History. Just wondering if it would be a positive on my application to have a 690.
UChicago makes a point of not requiring subject tests and you already know the answer for Duke. When subject tests aren’t required or recommended, it’s a good idea to hold off unless they are exceptional and/or somehow offset an uncomplimentary other portion of your application. The last thing you want is to dilute an already-strong app.
