<p>My son submitted his common app to 4 schools a week ago. On the dashboard it shows submitted and paid for all 4 schools. I had thought once they downloaded the app it would show downloaed there. I'm wondering if it is a glitch as if you go into the my colleges tab and click on the part for the school report and recommendations there it shows downloaed for each school a day or two after the application was submitted. But I cannot find anywhere where it says downloaded in regards to the student part of the applicaiton. Also, the Parent ED agreement still says submitted on the same page as the school stuff that shows downloaded (and the Parent ED was the first thing submitted).</p>
<p>Seems strange that all 4 schools would download the school documents only within days but still not download the student part after a full week. Or am I mistaken that it should show downloaded somewhere tied to the students actual application? </p>
<p>Is the status on the dashboard supposed to include downloaded once the app is downloaded? Or in the my colleges tab? </p>
<p>He did receive confirmation emails but I believe those were more auto generated upon submission by common app instead of directly from the college. No invites yet to create a login to the colleges portals where I know he can check and be sure all is received once he gets that (and I know thst might take another week or so). </p>
