Submitting a video of EC on college app?

I've read a couple posts where people send in videos of themselves doing stylistic dance. I personally think thats a great idea but can you do the same for other ECs.

My personal talent is in martial arts. I've been committed to TaeKwonDo since the age of 5-6 and even though I have not been an official member of a school for a few years (due to a lack of schools in the area), I have been perfecting my skill and learning new martial art techniques on almost daily basis. Do you think it would be a good idea to take a video of my TaeKwonDo abilities? I think it would impress almost anyone who watches it, but I don't know if this is the kind of thing that people typical do on college apps to prestigious unis (e.g. Stanford/MIT).

I'd like to know so I can get started making one. Thanks for your help in advance.

The difference between dance and martial arts is that there is no "objective standard" for dance or to evaluate what an "advanced dancer" is. But in martial arts, if you've reached a certain level, you have the belt (or whatever award) to prove it, and the wins at various matches and competitions. A videotape will probably not add much information for the admissions committee and, unless they have a varsity team in that martial art, will likely not be viewed.

Thanks for the clarification

Don't bother sending it. Do consider writing your essay about your passion for martial arts.
