<p>There's no place in the Duke supplement on Common app to submit research abstracts or research papers. I've googled it and searched but haven't found anything on it. Is there a place on the Duke portal to do that once I've submitted my application? (Also, do I have to submit my application before December 20th to get an interview? There are plenty of alumni in my area.) Thanks!</p>
<p>Re interview: Your opportunity for an interview is increased if you meet the 20 December deadline, but you may be accorded one if you fail to. Further, the fact that there are “plenty of alumni in your area” is not necessarily relevant; those graduates must volunteer and participate in Duke’s Alumni Admissions Advisory Committee (AAAC), to be assigned your interview.</p>
<p>I put my abstract in the additional information section of the common app. There’s plenty of room there.</p>
