So I was wondering if any of you had an idea if submitting art helps you. I'm really into photography (as a hobby) but it's not my major so I don't know if I should submit some prints/files. Does anyone know if it only helps you if you're going into an Arts major? (I'm applying as a transfer fyi)

i submitted one also! It can only help! they give it to the art dept and i think the scale is a 1,2,3…so if you get a higher score it helps i think! but idk about transfer deadlines, but ik the deadline for an arts supplement for reg decision was dec1

For Fall Transfer the Arts Supplement Deadline is March 1st. You need to follow the directions for submission. These are two links you might find helpful. And to answer your question, if you are applying as an Art Major you might want to submit an Art Supplement. Best of luck to you!

Ah, sounds good. I’ll be submitting my favorite 15 photographs on a CD then. I’m not applying as an art major. Doing Computer Science but photography is my hobby and I love it. I’ll probably take a class on it and join a club. Thanks a lot for the help Brit, Dean J and Woosah!
