I totally forgot to submit my FAFSA by March 2 and just submitted it this week. I know I’ll still be eligible for the Pell Grant but I am worried about the Cal Grant/school scholarships. I have applied as a transfer to a few UCs and hear back this week and next week if I got in. Has any here submitted their FAFSA late and still received a Cal grant or institutional scholarship/grant?

I’m not from CA, but it is my understanding that the calgrant deadline is a firm one.
In addition to the application itself, your GPA verification would also have needed to be sent.
Perhaps someone else can comment.
ETA…you are a transfer? Have you previously qualified for the calgrant?
My community college automatically sends the GPA verification for all students, so that part is okay. I applied as a transfer and will be hearing back over the next few weeks whether or not I got in anywhere. I am an independent and am positive that with my income (lack of) I will qualify for a Cal Grant. @thumper1 Thanks!
The important question is have you qualified previously for the Cal Grant? If you have never received Cal Grant funding and you did in fact miss the March 2nd FAFSA deadline for this year, you likely will be out of luck.
