Hello everyone! This year I was deciding between UCLA and UC Berkeley and was having a really tough time deciding between the two. I went on cc to find out if you could submit 2 SIRs to have more time to decide and I was reading things like you would be kicked out of both schools if you do! Any person worried about this know that it is completely ridiculous. You CAN definitely submit more than one SIR even though the UCs hope you can pick the one you want in the time given to you. But as the deadline to submit my SIR was coming up, both schools emailed me telling me to submit an SIR just in case and that I could cancel it later! So anyone who needs more time or is worried about this, don’t be. Every UC has a decline admission button on the admissions website. Take your time and submit more than one if you need to! I just wanted to post this because when I was searching for answers on several posts there was no one clear answer. I hope this helps anyone who was in my position!
