Submitting SAT vs ACT scores

Hi all,

I am currently in the process of applying to many UC’s (LA, Berkeley, SD, Davis, Irvine, SC, and SB) and a few CSU’s (SJ, SD, and Cal Poly SLO).

My current weighted gpa is a 4.15 and I am applying as a biology major to these schools.

I am having trouble determining whether I submit my SAT scores, ACT scores, or both.

My scores are the following:
SAT Composite: 2130
CR:640 M:800 W:690

ACT Composite: 33
E:30 M:35 R:31 S:36

I believe that my ACT scores “convert” to a higher SAT score than the one I actually got, so I am thinking that it would make more sense to submit only ACT. But I am also applying as a science major, so maybe that 800 on math would be good to show??

Also, I am not sure which schools require ALL previous scores to be sent, and how that would influence what I submit.
My previous ACT Scores are a 30 and 31 and previous SAT score is a 2010.

I would appreciate all help in making this stupidly complicated decision, thank you!!

UC’s require all scores and will take the highest score from a single sitting. CSU’s will superscore. I would send both.

Thank you for the help! Additionally, do you know if UC’s consider all scores that they receive from official reports, even if I dont self report them? For example, UCLA has been on all of my lists for the free score reports, but now I am still considering not submitting SAT. Would they consider my scores into my evaluation for admissions even if I dont enter that score on my application?

Thank you again in advance!
