Suggestions for off campus housing?

<p>My S is looking for a large house to rent - 5 + bedrooms ... seems they may have started too late. Anyone have suggestions for properties, companies, etc?</p>

<p>When do you have to find rental house - how early?</p>

<p>They need to be within walking/ or at least biking distance. They all don't have cars.</p>

<p>I don’t think they’ve started too late, in fact a lot of them won’t be on the market yet.</p>

<p>raleigh.craigslist.org, padmapper.com and chapelhillrent.com are all good.</p>

<p>but most of the ads at the moment are for immediate move in, I think.</p>
