suggestions, worth the transfer

I dont know if anyone is familiar with the dearborn campus but I will have 55 credits at the University Of Michigan-DEARBORN. I've applied to the ann arbor campus and got accepted, although I think they will only accept 34 credits becasue 21 of them were taken in highschool while also recieving highschool credit for them(they have a policy disallowing this). So anyways If I stay in Dearborn I will finish in 2 years probably with a Finance Degree, then hopefully on to law school. If I go to ann arbor it will take atleast 3 more years, and I'll probably be an econ major if I dont get into Ross. So is it worth it to give up a year and go to Ann Arbor, or finish a year early in Dearborn? ANy SUggestions?

good question, with law school keep in mind the calibre of the undergrad institution you attend COULD be a big help in gaining admittance into a top 25 or so school. I say could becasue there are no hard facts behind this, other then that law schools do rank your undergraduate school in terms of difficulty. The other part i think you might be missing is the college experience you want to walk away with. From what i know about dearborn, id have to say your typical day consists of driving to school, going to class, and going home. If this is true, you could find yourself regretting this in the future for the "lack" of true college experience you recieved. Especially being that you want to attend law school, your definatly going to be slaving away there, why not have a little fun at AA while also getting a much superior education? The choice is yours, but i know waayy to many people that regret going to commuter schools, and now work 40hrs a week and have nothing to look back on..good luck whatever you decide.
