Which one is better? I have to specify on the housing contract.
Depends on your personal preference or financial preference. Suites cost more than traditional rooms. You’ll only share a bathroom with 3-5 others if you’re in a suite, but you’ll share with a whole floor in a traditional building. Most traditional buildings have lots of other freshmen. Suites can be a mix of juniors and seniors, so the building environment may be different than a dorm with mostly freshmen.
Easier to meet people in traditional style dorm. Hall baths usually cleaner, too, as they are cleaned daily.
