To all CS majors:

I'm trying complete requirements for the CS major. I have not taken a CS class before (I am going to be a sophomore).

I'm taking CS 61A + another CS req over summer.

I have a choice between Math 54, CS 70, and EE 42 for the other req. I know, it's going to be a hard summer either way, but which one do you think is most doable? Thanks!

same here.
bump^^
or should I take one cs61a + one humanity class?

Of the three courses CS 70, Math 54, and EE 42, CS 70 is probably the most important of the three in being a prerequisite for later CS courses*. All three should be similar amounts of work, although you may find the material of different difficulty. It may be slightly advantageous to take Math 54 before EE 42.

*CS 70 is a prerequisite for nine upper division CS courses, Math 54 is a prerequisite for two (184, C191) and the useful course EE 122, and EE 42 is a prerequisite for one (150).
