if any of you don't get into diversity do you think there is a chance that you will apply to the paid (but exactly the same) program? I really want to go, and being able to apply EA next year is sweet, but $6k seems like a LOT

There is no SAMS for precollege, btw. and no, i won't pay for it =P

haha, unlike you though, i have no other free programs that want me :P

i definitely don't have the money for the "not free" program.

UGH! LARGE NUMBER OF APPLICANTS...they should have stopped accepting applications so late...arghh!

I sincerely hope you are lying Narcissa :)...and I pray to God that hpa has the correct information.

i don't mind waiting till may as long as it's for good news :P

oh and i think the website at one time did say that they will continue accepting applications "pending space available in the program", so maybe that means everybody who applied on time got in =)

^ yeah, I wish...

hey isn't that what it's supposed to mean, lol..oh well. maybe they said they accepted apps but don't really consider them..would be kinda mean

but it's usually such a competitive program...i doubt they would have a first come first serve admissions...that would be sweet though.

or maybe the deadline just means nothing at all. perhaps they are simply looking for the "best" possible candidates and will take the disadvantaged URM with a 4.0 and 230psat even if his app doesn't get in until april 30th...

^ yay, that's me. (except i have 222)

it doesn't look like were going to get decisions this week...

^nope. I've accepted the fact that they will probably come in early or mid May.

bump, for no reason...

hey guys, here's a free bump

bump
:D:):(

What courses will you guys take if accepted into AP/EA?

what will YOU take? :]

did they ever send anyone a notification that they received their app?

I didn't get notification, but I called and confirmed that they had everything.

I would take Differential Equations and Physics II. Or maybe Calculus 3, but I'm independent studying that now, and will prolly be done in time.

I'd take Calc I, and either chemistry or cognitive psych.
