Summer at Brown

<p>Is anybody else planning on applying to this summer program? Any idea what the approximate minimum requirements are? </p>

<p>From what I've read, it's not hard to get into as long as you have the money to pay for it. Of course I wonder about all of this anyway, lol. I'm not sure what my GPA is because my school doesn't factor in last year. I think it's around a 3.8 (not counting the second marking period- grades haven't been released yet) and that's only slightly weighted as my school's weighted scale doesn't make much of a difference. I'm in five Honors classes (only one last year though) and I think my recommendation will be good.</p>

<p>Lastly, how optional is the optional essay? Should I do it for that extra little boost or should I follow my urge to be lazy? lol</p>

<p>community college for me :) i have better stuff to do than pay 2 grand not including transportation to go to a ivy school where i can get the same education 5 min away from me for FREE</p>

<p>for me, i'd do the optional essay. shows that ur committed to get into that summer program</p>
