Summer B Financial Aid and Math Placement Test

First question:

Has anyone received any info about summer B financial aid? We had to submit the FAFSA for 2011, since UCF considers summer a trailing term to the 2011-2012 school year. There is nothing showing on his MyUCF account about it yet. Just wondering if others have received any info.

Also, there is nothing about the math placement test. He has not paid his deposit yet-I wonder if that could be why? Do others that have been accepted but have not paid see where they need to take the test?

Thanks!!

You need to pay your deposit before you can take the Math Placement Test.

Is the math placement test online? Or must we go down to the campus to take it?

It’s online.

Does everybody have to take this “math placement test” that you speak of?

Yes, it is a requirement to see what level math class you should be in college. You have to take it at least 2 weeks before you do orientation. Everybody has to do it.

One more thing to add on my list of, ‘Things I don’t want to do.’ As of what people say, the UCF math placement is fairly difficult. Math is difficult for me, no matter what, so this is going to be very interesting…
