Summer B Housing?

I need to decide which dorm hall is best for freshmen for Summer B! The options are Murphree Area, Keys, Springs, Lakeside, and Yulee & Reid Halls. I want a social scene that is close to general classes and good places for food and things. I don't mind a 10 minute walk. Please help!

My daughter lives in Murphree right now and LOVES it…it is central to everything. She attended Summer B last year and lived in Mallory. I would suggest REID for the summer as it is a typical dorm set-up. My daughter made her friends during Summer B and they are all great friends still and they all live in different dorms now. Murphree is a wonderful dorm, but I don’t think you would make the friends you would if you were in Reid. She is in a two room triple with 2 other girls. In Muphree bottom floor is boys 2 and 3 are girls and 4th is boys. there are only 4 rooms on her floor along with the kitchen and bathroom…she said she doesn’t really see the other people on her floor. Summer B is the best way to start because it is basically just the freshman and EVERYONE is super nice and excited to be making friends! I would suggest taking a bicycle too!
