I’m thinking about applying to the pre college world philosophy course at Brown, and just wonder if any of you have taken it and what is it like? Is it fun? What are the roommates like, are they other high school students? Do y’all get to go out a lot? I’m also thinking about the ancient Egypt or archaeology course; what are those like?

I took summer course at Brown in 2011 in my sophomore year. The course I took was something about neuroscience. The rest of the class were all high school students. There was pretty much homework (a lot of reading of college level) but we still had time to go out. Also, Brown organized some activities on weekends ( trip to the beach, outlets and Boston). I really do not know about the courses you wanna take but I hope my experience would be useful for you. Good luck. :)

That sounds lovely!! haha It’s sad that I’m excited to see college level homework… thank you! :-)
