Summer college credit programs for high school students

If I go to a university summer program that lets high school students take freshmen level lectures and gives college credits, will it increase my chance of being accepted to that particular school? I know it won’t guarantee an acceptance but will it help? I am confused because many people are saying that university summer camps are just a way for schools to earn profit.
(and this is based on the assumption that I get As from the university)

Thanks

I can’t speak for other schools, but to my knowledge Georgetown doesn’t take that into consideration during the admissions process. Of course, if you tie your experience into your application essays and mention it in context there, it could be a nice way to show your knowledge about the school and why Georgetown would fit you well.
